Privacy Policy

This policy explains what happens to personal data on this website: what we store when you send us an enquiry, which cookies the site sets, when analytics runs, and whom to contact about your data. The Soft-TLS application that customers log into is a separate service with its own terms; if your question is about data inside the application, write to us and we will point you to the right document.

Who is responsible

Soft TLS d.o.o, 7. Jula 24, 18220 Aleksinac, Serbia

We are the controller for the personal data described here. Write to the address above for anything in this policy, including the rights listed at the end.

When you send us a form

The demo, quote and contact forms ask for your name, company, work e-mail address, and optionally a telephone number, country, company size, the modules or package you are interested in, your preferred language and your message. Nothing else is collected: the site does not record the IP address of a form submission.

  • We use the data to answer your enquiry and, where it concerns an offer, to prepare one.
  • The entry is stored in this website’s database and sent to us by e-mail. You receive an automatic confirmation at the address you entered.
  • Entries are kept for 12 months and then deleted. If your enquiry becomes a business relationship, the data is kept under that relationship instead, and its own retention rules apply.
  • The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and, for offers, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
  • Before a form is sent, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that it comes from a person and not from a program. It sees your IP address and technical details of your browser, not what you type into the form. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the forms free of automated abuse.

Cookies

The site sets three cookies of its own and none for advertising. Analytics cookies are set only if you allow them in the cookie bar.

  • pll_language — remembers the language you are reading, so you are not sent back to English on the next page. Set by the multilingual plugin, expires after one year.
  • softtls_consent — records your cookie choice so you are not asked again. Expires after 180 days. Removing it makes the cookie bar appear again.
  • softtls_lang_bar — remembers that you dismissed the bar suggesting the site in your browser language. Expires after 30 days.
  • _ga and _ga_<id> — Google Analytics, set only after you accept analytics cookies, and removed by declining. Google states a lifetime of up to two years.

You can change your choice at any time through the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages are read and which are not. It runs only after you accept analytics cookies in the cookie bar: until then the script is not loaded at all. IP addresses are shortened before processing, we do not use advertising features, and we do not combine this data with anything else. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, which may transfer data to Google LLC in the United States on the basis of the European Commission’s adequacy decision and standard contractual clauses. Declining analytics has no effect on how the site works.

Hosting and server logs

The website runs on servers of STRATO GmbH in Germany, inside the European Union, under a data processing agreement. Like every web server, it writes log files that contain the requesting IP address, the time, the page requested and the browser identification. These logs exist to keep the site available and to investigate faults and attacks, on the basis of our legitimate interest in a secure service; they are deleted on the provider’s routine schedule and are not used to identify visitors.

The site loads no fonts, scripts or images from other companies’ servers: everything it needs is served from this domain. There are two exceptions: the analytics script described above, only with your consent, and Cloudflare’s spam check on the pages that carry a form.

Who else sees the data

  • Our hosting provider, STRATO GmbH, as the operator of the servers.
  • Google, for analytics, and only if you accepted analytics cookies.
  • Cloudflare, Inc. (USA), for the spam check on the forms. It processes your IP address and browser details on our behalf, and uses them for its own purposes only to improve its detection of automated traffic. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
  • Nobody else. We do not sell personal data, we do not share it for advertising, and there is no automated decision-making on this website.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, ask us to restrict its use, object to processing based on legitimate interest, and receive it in a portable form. Write to info@soft-tls.com and we will answer within one month. If you believe we handle your data unlawfully, you can complain to a supervisory authority — in Serbia the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection, or the authority in your own country of residence.

Changes to this policy

We update this page when the website changes: a new form, a new tool, a different provider. The version you are reading is the one in force. If you are a customer, the documents that govern the Soft-TLS application are provided with your contract and are not replaced by this page.
